The RIE, Mysore undertook, the identification of hard spots in the teaching of Mathematics textbooks of Class X of' Karnataka State. A training package was developed to help the Mathematics teachers in dealing with these hard spots. Another training package based on the revised Mathematics curriculum of Kerala State for Class X was also developed and tried out.
