IV.RESOLUTION ON THE DEATH OF
 PROF. D.S. KOTHARI MEMBER, CABE.
 

The Central Advisory Board of Education deeply. condole the death of Prof. D. S. Kothari, a distinguished member of the Board, an eminent educationist and an internationally renowned scientist. Prof. Kothari had contributed to Indian education greatly through his services in various capacities, particularly, as Chairman of CSIR, Chairman of UGC and Chairman of Education Commission which reviewed the whole gamut of Indian education. He personified in himself a unique synthesis of scientific temper and the eternal verities of Indian culture. The Board place on record their deep appreciation of the great contribution made by Prof. Kothari to Indian education.
