PUBLICATION OF LITERATURE
 

The Government of India are periodically publishing literature for Basic schools in English but this cannot reach the teachers in Basic schools who do not know English. It is necessary for the State Governments to produce literature for teachers in Basic schools, particularly on Teaching of Crafts and the use of Method of Correlated Teaching in Basic schools. The Centre may give grants to State which intend to publish such literature on 75 per cent basis. This will enable the publication of suitable books for use of teachers in Basic schools in the regional languages of the State.
