MAKING PROVISION FOR THE
 HUMANITIES AND SCIENCES IN ALL
 MULTIPURPOSE SCHOOLS BESIDES ANY
 VOCATIONAL OR TECHNICAL SUBJECTS
 THAT MIGHT BE PROVIDED.
 

From actual experience it is seen that there is a rush for Human- ities and the Sciences. Therefore if in a school Humanities and a subject like Agriculture alone are offered as electives, several pupils should be placed under handicap mainly in the matter of pro- ceeding for studies in the University. This becomes very acute in case there is no other school within a convenient distance to which such pupils might go. Unless Central help is forthcoming it will be extremely difficult to provide for course in Science in all Multipur- pose schools.
