Earlier Shri Kaka Saheb Kalelkar had stated that the list of source material of Gandhian literature could be obtained from Gandhi Smarak Sangrehalaya at 2 Man Singh Road. He suggested that an assistant from the Education Ministry could personally go and collect the list.

As a reference for the use of the Committee, Shri Kaka Sahab Kalelkar stated that the Ministry should obtain the following books :-

        
        i )  Gandhiana .....     Published by Navjeevan Publishing.House.
        
        (ii) Mahatma   .....     by Jagdish  Sharma.
        
        (iii) Gandhiji .....     by Vitthalbhai Zaveri and Tendulkar.
