REPORT OF THE INTERNATIONAL TEAM
 ON TEACHERS AND CURRICULA IN
 SECONDARY SCHOOLS
 

It will be recalled that at the 20th Meeting of the Board held in November, 1953, mention was made of a Project sponsored by the Government of India in collaboration with the Ford Foundation under which a team of eight educationists (including four foreign educationists) Schools in India, Denmark, the U.K. and the U.S.A. The team assembled in Delhi in September, 1953 and, the after completing a tour of India proceeded to Denmark, the U.K. and U.S.A. The team returned to India February, 1954 and, as part of their assignment met leading Indian educationists in the field at a conference in New Delhi in March 1954 at which their findings were discussed, with particular reference to the recommendations of the Secondary Education Commission which had been published earlier. The *report of the team was finalised thereafter and has since been published. The report is placed before the Board for information.
