Note- (a) With the establishment of a Basic Training College from 11th February 1951 in a rural area at Nrisinghnagar, Turki in the Muzaffarpur district of North Bihar, the system of training of graduates including successful experienced teachers and those trained under the older system as teachers of Basic Training Schools under the system of apprenticeship by association with the work of the trained staff of the Basic Training Schools and by participation in the community life and productive and actual activities of these institutions have been dropped. The last date of such apprentices completed their short course of six months at Patna B.T.S. on 28th February 1950.
Since the establishment of a Basic Training College at Nrisinghnagar, Turki, 50 graduates are under training.
(b) Two year's course includes one year at the Training College and another one year of Supervised work in Basic Post and Basic Training Schools.
(c) Facilities for Psychological research work and Scientific experimental investigations in connection with Basic System of Education and application of Statistics to these for the Basic trained teachers, Psychologists and educational administrative officers does exist at the Basic Training College at Nrisinghnagar. Turki, Muzaffarpur. The courses will be of various durations depending on the nature of investigations. It may vary from 3 months to two years.
