2.4.2 The above Table would show that during the Fifth and Sixth Plans, Central share co-me down from the level of the Fourth Plan. Of course, during the Seventh Plan, the share has increased. But, as of now, it is seen that there is no commitment on most of the Centrally sponsored schemes for continuance in the VIII Plan.
