Of his plays seven have been broadcast in the National Programme in all languages. He has a distinction of having written over 50 T.V. Plays alongwith popular T.V. Serials like AUR BHI GAM HAIN ZAMANE MEIN, LENA-DENA, PHIR WAHI TALASH, THE GREAT MARATHA, which proved smash hits on T.V. He also has to his credit telefilms like Vivek, Tisra Mandir and Feature Film NAHI JEENA BIN TERE.
Central Board of Secondary Education was, indeed, fortunate to have his association with the project and got benefitted from his rich and diverse views and immense depth of understanding of the sensitive issues like Solidarity and Secularism. He has also contributed a paper on the main theme of the Orientation Programme which served as a guiding point for further discussions and set the tone of the Orientation Programme. Participants were thrilled to listen to his enriching and vibrating talk on the basic theme of the Programme and got the opportunity to clarify many doubts nibbling their minds by way of across the board discussions and interaction with him.

Shri Saeed Naqvi is a renowned journalist and at present editor of the World Report, a syndication service on foreign affairs. His thought-provoking articles, reports, stories and features frequently appear in all the major national dailies of India and abroad, like The Sunday Times London, The Guardian London, Washington Post, etc. He has the dis- tinction of having interviewed famous world leaders and personalities in India and abroad which appear in newspa- pers, magazines and on national television from time to time. His intense concern for promoting national integra- tion and secularism in the country is very well evident in his video films. The Central Board of Secondary Education expresses its gratitude to Shri Saeed Naqvi for having agreed to show two of his video films to the participants of the Orientation Programme on promotion of Secularism in the country and provoke debate on the related issues.
The participants were highly inspired by the magic presence of Shri Saeed Naqvi. His video shows and the accompanying talk really set the ball rolling for more intensive discussions in the Orientation Programme.

Mrs. Moloyashree Hashmi is the wife of Late Shri Safdar Hashmi, the Founder-Member of Jan Natya Manch (J.N.M.) and the main driving force behind it, who died a few years back following a murderous attack on him and other J.N.M. activists by some anti- social elements. Today, J.N.M. is known as the pioneer street theatre grown in India. Some of its plays are topical as they were written for specific campaigns but most deal with the abiding issues like the position of women, communalism, the education system, the price rise, corruption, economic disparity, people struggle etc. The Board was fortunate to have the association of J.N.M. during its Orientation Programme. The street theatre (Sab Mein Sahib Bharpoor Hai Ji) performed before the participants was very much applauded by one and all. Prepared in December 1992, this street play highlights the long secular traditions of our country. It is about the life of 18th century Sufi poet, Sant Paltu Dass, who talked of the universal brotherhood and of humankind. The play is full of songs and poems with a powerful message written by Sant Paltu Dass and rendered in simple folk tunes. The convenor of J.N.M. Smt. Moloyashree Hashmi is presently working in the Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Lodi Estate, New Delhi.
