COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE CBSE SYLLABUS WITH THAT PRESCRIBED BY DIFFERENT STATE EDUCATION BOARDS OF INDIA AND ABROAD
The present study is restricted to syllabi obtained from the State Education Boards (SEBs) of Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Rajasthan, Shillong, Haryana, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh & Maharashtra. It was learnt that SEBs of Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala and Himachal Pradesh follow CBSE pattern. Syllabi from other states could not be obtained. Also included in the study is the Commerce Syllabus of National Open School, Delhi at Sec. and Sr. Sec. levels.
