RECOGNITION OF COURSES
The following Engineering Based Vocational Courses of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi have been recognised for purpose of higher studies by Association of Indian Universities vide letter no. EC/II (385)/92/156961 dated Dec. 1, 1992.
a) Electrical Technology
b) Electronics Technology and
c) Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology
The students who have passed +2 examination with above mentioned vocational courses have been considered eligible for admission to the first year of the Engineering Colleges.
Govt. of India, Ministry of Education & Culture (Department of Education) Technical- 10 has recognised vocational courses for admission in 2nd year of the Diploma course in the concerned vocation in Polytechnics vide letter no. F/-20/84 T.10 dated 10th August 1984 addressed to the Director, Directorate of Technical Education (Delhi Administration), Rouse Avenue, New Delhi.
The following clauses art mentioned in the above said letter:
1. The students who have passed Senior School Certificate Examination in Vocational subjects will be entitled for admission to second year of the Diploma course in the concerned Vocation in polytechnics.
2. The admission will be entirely on merit basis and 10% seats in the concerned subjects will be reserved for those students, who have passed +2 examination of CBSE offering the concerned Vocation.
