Govt. has decided that with effect from 14.01.2002 Indian students will not require any permission / no objection from the Ministry of Human Resource Development for appearing in ' O ' level and ' A ' Level examinations (GCE / IGCSE EXAMINATION OF UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE / UNIVERSITY OF LONDON IN INDIA). This decision has been conveyed to the British Council, India vide Department of Secondary Education and Higher Education letter no F.22-1/2001-U.3 dated 14th January 2002.
