APPOINTMENT OF FOREIGN NATIONALS IN INDIAN UNIVERSITIES
Foreign nationals who are considered for
appointment in Indian Universities on a contract basis in exceptional cases when suitably
qualified Indians are not available. Such appointments are made with the prior approval of
the Govt. Of India. Proposals in this connection are to be submitted in form as given
below to the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Secondary
Education and Higher Education.

apply for Visa
authorisation.
- Source of funding and terms/conditions of Funding/appointment.
- Whether accompanied by spouse /dependants, and if so, full personal
particulars and source of
funding should be indicated.
