Dear
Candidate,
I am directed to refer to your
application for Japanese Government Scholarship-2009
on the subject mentioned above and to request you to
attend Written examination/interview on (see
the date of interview against your subject) at
8.30 AM at Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Kasturba Gandhi
Marg, New Delhi (Opp. Employment Exchange, Curzon Road
Barracks). Three copies of the application form
prescribed by Japanese Government are enclosed
herewith. You are requested to bring all the forms
completed in all respects along with the documents
mentioned below and all your original
certificates at the time of interview. You
may leave such columns blank of the application form
in respect of which you have a doubt. Second class
sleeper rail fare by shortest route /bus fare (both
ways) would be reimbursed in case you are coming from
outside Delhi/NCR. Before the interview, you
have to report at 8:30 AM on the same day at
Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi
to undergo English and Japanese language Tests for
about One hours separately .
However, the performance in the Japanese Language Test
will not affect the selection of candidates except
those who applied for Japanese Language & Literature
and Japanese Studies. The marks obtained in English
language test will affect the selection of candidate.

If you have applied for more than one subject you
may choose only one subject for which you are
interested for interview and attend the same.
3.
The candidates must bring the original documents as
proof of date of birth and other documents which will
be required at the time of interview. Each applicant
must submit three sets of the following documents at
the time of Interview. One set is required to be
original documents. Two other sets may be photocopies
thereof.
1) Application
for Admission (prescribed forms), Field of Study and
Study Program (Attachment)
2) The
applicant must write his/her name and nationality on
the back of each photograph (6X4 cm) and paste them on
the application forms.
3) Certified
academic records of each academic year of the Board &
University attended.
4) Recommendation
from the principal or two professor of the last
university attended.
5) Recommendation
from the present employer (if employed)
6) Medical
certificate on the prescribed form (Minimum MBBS
Doctor).
7) An
acceptance letter of any Japanese University, if any
or any letter of communication with any Japanese
University/Professor.
8) 'No
Objection Certificate' in original from employer, if
employed, must be brought at the time of interview.
9) Proposed
Programme of study with each application form.
10) Experience
Certificate.
11) Please
don't fold the application forms & bring all your
original testimonials / Degree etc at the time of
interview with photocopy of rail/bus fare ticket for
payment of TA.
